There are good daily specials including the $2 drink of the day. We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday. I ordered the Tuesday special, Ossobuco for $11.99. It is good and super tender. It's plenty of meat on the bone. It came with 2 sides. I got it with broccoli and mashed potatoes and gravy. I also got a side Caesar salad. Of course, I could not finish it, and took the rest to go. I recommend this for those meat lovers. My husband got the zinger salad. It's a good sized salad with about 6 big zingers. He got full and didn't even finish the zingers. If you've never had the zingers, they are similar to buffalo chicken fingers. You pick the dressing you want. My kids ate cheeseburger sliders and the grilled shrimp. Each meal comes with one side and drink. Great deal for a kids meal $5 each. We left with a $30 bill for the 4 of us. Not bad for dinner. Somer was our waitress and she was great! She came back just enough times to check our two tables.

Fried Twinkies, Watermelon Ritas and N'awlins Shrimp - sounds like the perfect summer feast. And it was. We recently ventured over to Miller's Ale House in Winter Park to try some of their newest menu items. Here's what we feasted on and enjoyed during our recent visit! Backyard BBQ Brisket Sliders - Hand-pulled, slow-smoked brisket piled on toasted mini buns then topped with sliced pickles, crispy onion tanglers and served with a side of spicy Tabasco BBQ sauce. A tasty mini-combination of tender brisket and perfectly crisp onions. BBQ Texas Burger - They say everything's bigger in Texas and this burger is no exception. This juicy sandwich was piled high with fried onions, pulled pork and fried pickles. By far my favorite dish of the night and how could you dislike this combination of fried goodness? Served with piping hot seasoned fries that were even more exceptional when added to the burger. N'awlins Style Shrimp - Simmered in homemade seasoned butter with Budweiser and a hint of Tabasco. Served with warm, sliced bread for dipping. I make no promises that this summer menu is "healthy", but who cares about calories when you can have beer-buttered shrimp? Ale House-Made Ribs and Brisket Platter - A generous serving of slow-smoked sliced brisket drizzled with BBQ sauce and a 1/2 rack of BBQ Baby Back Ribs. And you get all this meaty goodness for under $20. By far my husband's favorite dish of the evening! It's a massive platter full of corn, cole slaw and summer taste. Fried Twinkie Split - Save room for this gut-busting dessert. It's totally worth it. Take a trip back in time with this county fair inspired treat. These panko-breaded, deep-fried banana flavored Twinkies are served warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream then drizzled with strawberry sauce and chocolate syrup. Watermelon Rita - A full pitcher made with Sauza Blue 100% Agave Tequila for just $10. Orange Crush - Made with Smirnoff Orange Vodka, fresh squeezed orange juice, triple sec and a splash of lemon-lime soda. At $3.95 why not order a few? Make your way to Miller's Ale House and enjoy these tastes of summer while they last!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! After a bad experience at another Miller's Ale House we decided to give their restaurant another try. I don't know what I was thinking! First of all - we both ordered salads - we never got those. When our food did arrive it had evidently been sitting for some time. We went with the daily special of meatloaf. I ordered a baked potato with mine and my husband ordered the loaded fries. He didn't get a roll with his, but I did. Mine was so cold it felt like it came right out of the refrigerator. The meatloaf was dried out and lukewarm. Actually, lukewarm is exaggerating a bit. It wasn't ice cold but it wasn't hot or warm at all. The baked potato was so cold I couldn't even get the butter to melt on it. My husband's meatloaf was in the same condition as mine. His loaded fries came in one big lump The cheese had formed in a big lump and wasn't warm at all. We didn't dare send the food back, as these days with all the horror stories of what happens to food sent back we decided to pack it up and take it home to heat up and eat. I will NEVER EVER set foot in a Millers' Ale House restaurant again!!! Three strikes and you are out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came to this location for a friend's birthday. I really loved the location of this Ale house and it was a pretty big group. We went on a Friday night and the place was pretty packed. Since I had already eaten dinner I decided to come here strictly for the dessert. I decided to order the Nutter Butter Ice Cream Cake. The Nutter Butter Cake was incredibly tasty and definitely hit the spot. My daughter absolutely loved it as well. Since it was my friends birthday I tried her brownie with ice cream on top and that was pretty delicious. I did not realize that the Ale House was not only a good place to grab a drink, but if you have a sweet tooth this is also a good place. Also there are fire pits located on the outside which is a great place in the evening to gather with friends, and it is also a nice place to go for birthdays.

I have been here twice. The food is typical frozen bar food and the place is full of ghetto people. There is nothing special about it. The first time I was with my aunt who likes commercial/chain places, so this was perfect for her. I ordered a pina colada and I questioned whether or not there was alcohol in it. After the waitress confirmed that there was alcohol in it I ordered an additional shot of rum. I tasted the shot before adding it and it was in fact watered down. Fast foreword to today. I live down the street and just wanted to grab a drink. So I chose the place that is closest. I am currently sitting at the bar. I ordered a Makers neat with a glass of rocks on the side just to make sure. I tasted the bourbon to confirm and it was also watered down. It wasn't as drastic as the rum, but definitely noticeable. Please note, bourbon is my drink of choice and I always have a bottle of Basil Haydens in my house. I primarily drink good bourbon and wine so I know when something as low as Maker's is watered down.

Zingers! Of course we all know that's one of the Ale House signature dishes! I personally like to mix the Medium sauce with the Garlic parm sauce! Heaven! They do also make a wicked chicken nachos big enough to feed the entire table you are with...literally! Their flatbreads are another one of my favs along with the spinach dip. All in all Ale House is another one of my "go to" spots when I'm looking for a fun time and good food that won't break the bank.

This is one of the newer Ale House locations in town, and it's a very nice size venue...large outdoor bar and seating area, a smaller patio area, and the indoor dining/bar area. All roomy! Service can be hit or miss depending but overall, it really isn't bad! And who can beat the great drink specials going on all week and all day?

Bigger is not always better. This is the largest Ale House I have ever been to and the worst food. Our server was good. After speaking to the manager about the bad clams, the chilled prime rib and the salmon that was served with coleslaw instead of spinach and red potatoes, he says how was everything else ? The baked potato was good. And charged for everything. My last visit here.

I don't hate this place. It is accessible from a few parts of Orlando and the food and beer is good as Ale Houses go. I could do without the smoking in the semi-outdoor section when watching playoff football or the latest UFC fight but I live in Florida and accept that as part of my residency. This location is solid for group events if you want a private patio with fire pits and TV's... I attended an alumni event here and it went well, very good accommodation. There is a solid selection of beers and the staff is as friendly as can be expected. If you are looking for a quick beer or to catch a sporting event then you will enjoy this spot!

This is probably one of the better Miller's Ale House locations in the Central Florida area. Pros: - Yummy food and big menu (standard at Miller's Ale House) - Fire pits and fireplaces add nice ambiance in cooler months - Plenty of TV screens - Good drink specials Cons: - Chaotic environment / odd clientele. The table beside us was trying to cram 12 people into a 6-top, and were spilling into the seating areas of the tables around them. A couple of folks tried to sit at our table with us (our friends were parking, so their seats were momentarily empty. I was surprised that the staff / management allowed that type of Guest behavior). - Limited parking - Server seemed unfamiliar with the menu... and blamed it on the fact that this is her night job and not her main job, which isn't a great excuse (IMO) Overall, this is a good option if you want to watch sports and enjoy cheap drinks.

As far as chain restaurants go, Ale House is one of my preferred chains. Huge bar with reasonably priced drinks, decent food (depending on what you get), and friendly staff. This Ale House is huge compared to their other locations I've been to. They have two patio areas that are huge, one just for folks waiting for tables or hanging out and the other with actual tables. Every time I've been here, the staff is really friendly and attentive. No complaints at all when it comes to staff!! The food is the same at every location. I like the blackened mahi sandwich best and their burgers (I usually opt for a chicken or turkey burger instead of beef). Honestly, I haven't tried much else since it doesn't strike me as one of those places I'd want to order a steak from. They do offer a "light" menu, which has a handful of options. Parking is a bit of a cluster, and it's a bit unclear how you get into the parking area. Overall, Ale House is never anything spectacular. It's great for going with groups or hitting up for lunch.

We've ate at several places since we've been here and I have to honestly say the service and meal were absolutely the best we've had. I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich with onion rings and that was quite possibly the best sandwich and onion rings I've ever had. Everyone else at our table lived their meals as well. Prompt service and great atmosphere. Wish we had one back in Missouri

If you are an Ale House fan, you need to go to this brand new location. It's bigger and better than any location I have been to. I am not a huge chain/bar food fan, but this place is decent and great for big groups. My husband loves it and it's a great place to watch sports. There are huge flatscreen tvs everywhere. Don't expect to have deep conversations here...it's too loud! But it's a fun time regardless. We had the loaded cheese fries as an appetizer. Yum, yum, yummy!!!! I tried to be good and get the Asian chicken salad as my meal. Big mistake. Totally drenched in the sauce and way too salty for me. I should've known better than try to eat semi healthy here. So just give in and get something fried. It won't hurt you! I do highly recommend the chicken nachos but those need to be shared amongst a group of 4 minimum. Or 2 if you're REALLY hungry. Service is decent. On our most recent visit, we felt a teensy bit neglected as our server seemed to be paying more attention to the bigger groups( probably for bigger tips). It's hit or miss here for service...at least , it has been in our experience. But still worth a visit.

Very generic. However good service regular menu but very Accommodating for big parties outside

I've only been here for lunch. It is really a mess getting in and out of-- very unclear where you should turn to get into the parking lot, which is somehow always really full despite the size (it's huge). I get the cobb salad, which is a little on the pricey side ($12) but is pretty good. I imagine the shrimp jacks the price up a buck or two past a normal meal-sized salad price. The salad is served with nice, crunchy lettuce, cheese, bacon, chicken, and shrimp. It's filling. The service I've received here has been solid and their water glasses are enormous, which is awesome.

This is by far the best Ale House I have been to. I went here on a Sunday night to watch the UCF bowl game and sat at the outside bar. It was pretty chilly outside, but they had plenty of heaters and a fireplace which kept it just as comfortable as the inside of the restaurant. I'd love to come back on a nicer evening without any misting and sit at the lounge tables they have outside by the fire pits. Service was good at the bar and they had tons of TVs around to watch any sporting event on. They also had great beer specials which was $7.00 pitchers or $8.50 buckets of Miller products. Can't go wrong there. And of course their Zingers were delicious as always. Looking forward to going back with some friends to watch a game there.

The food is good as always and check in this time was a breeze. I recommend the Friday special 4.99 fish and chips. The reason why I didn't give it a higher score was because we sat for about 10 minutes before someone waited on us. I felt as though the servers were feeling like "uhhh who's table is that and do I have to deal with it?" We were finally helped and it was fine after that.

Went yesterday for lunch and it was less then stellar. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very personable and friendly and came to us quickly for our drink orders and food orders. Thirty minutes later we got out zinger salad and cheeseburger and let's just say it was a disaster. There was little sauce on the zingers and my burger cooked medium was well done. After having already waited 30 minutes for our food we couldn't afford the time to send it back as we were on a lunch break. The guy next to us at the bar ordered cheese on his burger and when he didn't have cheese they just brought him out a cold slice 10 minutes later. Don't bother coming to this location.

I have been a loyal and pleased patron of The Ale House(multiple locations) for many years. They always have good drink deals and great bar food! So we stopped in at the new location in Winter Park last Monday to check it out. We had plans to be somewhere by 7:30pm sharp just a few blocks away...keep this in mind:-) ...so we arrived (once we found our way into the parking lot) at 6pm We were encouraged to sit outside for some reason with all the smokers. Now I smoke a cigarette once in a while but I certainly do not condone the pillow of smoke from all around the patio engulfing us. We noticed others complain and move inside. We were in a rush so we just dealt with it. Since the area is somewhat open to the outside it was a little chilly out as well. They sat us near the fireplace though so we thought "sure, why not?". Of course the fireplace went out and it was ten minutes before one of the ten or more employees (standing in the corner, literally doing nothing) came over and turned it back on. Whatever, no big deal. Our server.... I seriously could not tell if she was one of these smiley faced super a-holes or if she was really....I don't wanna say dumb...perhaps naive and maybe just a little less smart. Our first table wobbled so badly we had to be moved over one, but not until after our server struggled with shoving different amounts of drink coasters under different table legs for a few minutes trying to balance it...then they sat another couple at the same table! Haha! Still...minor issues any reasonable person would expect from a new restaurant location that is still ("working out the kinks"). After seating us the second time, our server abandoned us for a good ten minutes...then she took our drink order. Amanda ordered a soda and I, a bloody Mary. The bartender looks at our ticket and walked away...proceeded to make several orders for others and then finally made my drink...which sat at the bar for another 5 minutes before reaching our table. Starting to get irritated now....but okay, think new restaurant...inexperienced server...working out the kinks.lol. I finally get my drink and our server drops it off and runs off...somewhere...for another 5 minutes...by the way, it's 5 minutes to 7pm now. Amanda ordered french onion soup and some chicken cheese french fry bacon ranch pile of stuff (typical bar food)...I ordered the porterhouse medium rare and a spinach dip for us. The spinach dip was good...but that was it. My steak was juicy but it seemed more steamed then grilled...strange texture. Whatever they did to that thing, someone should be in jail for screwing up such a delicious cut of meat....certainly NOT medium rare! It was a perfect medium well...but i don't like medium well and I certainly didn't ask for that! When Amanda's "entree" reached the table, we discovered it was the wrong dish...a simialr one...but wrong. Of course our server had run off for another 5 to 10 minutes before returning to find that she had screwed up. At this point I realize that we are not going to make our 7:30 appointment...and I'm getting irritated. I cannot stand bad food but bad service is just as bad, and a lot of times even worse. Amanda gets the correct plate now...it's 7:30pm...and she's just getting her food. Server takes off again...I'm pissed now. She comes back and we ask for our check and a togo box...she tries to pitch some dessert to us or something and I cut her off(I've had enough), In a very polite tone, I said "We are actually in a huge rush to be somewhere like ten minutes ago, could we just get the check?". She nodded and smiled and said "Oh, okay, I'll get that for you right away." and rushed off to settle our tab. The bill was roughly 75 dollars and some change. I gave a 100 dollars. When she finally returned she brought me back a twenty dollar bill and four singles and change and said "I'll be happy to break that if you want" as she walked away. I'm beyond pissed now...no way I'm leaving a 20 dollar tip for what just happened! We had plans to be out of there by 7:25...it's 5 minutes to 8! She's gone, so I go to the bar where three bartenders, (that aren't busy at all) just ignore me to the point of absolute absurdity. I actually attempted to get two of the bartenders attention...I might as well have been a ghost. Even with the bad service I would have settled for leaving a 15 percent tip just because we work in the industry and we always tip at least twenty percent...to get less than that from us, you gotta f- up our day! Well I reluctantly dropped the 20 on the table(I wasn't going to be a douche and leave 4 bucks) and we headed for the door. Our server pops up out of nowhere just all smiles...well we were not smiling. Probably noticing the look of disgust on our faces, she asks if everything is okay(with a look of concern on her face). we just said sure and walked away. We WILL NOT be giving that location a second chance. They already wasted enough of our time!

I liked the sports pub atmosphere, lots of big screen TVs showing all kinds of sports. Very roomy, lots of seating and two very large bars. Nice patio. Food was good, not anything special but good. The service however was a little scattered. Our waitress, while pleasant, walked by us at five times while we were trying to get her attention. She served us appetizers without silverware to eat it with. We had to practically tackle her to be able to pay our bill.

I was so hungry tonight after work and decided to stop by this new Ale House since I drive by it on my way home. I did not want to eat there because it has been very busy since it opened. I called ahead and ordered to go. My turkey burger was blackened to perfection and was very fresh and flavorful. It was a little salty but still very good. It could have been that I was just so hungry that anything would have tasted good at that point or it could have been that this new place wanted to give a good first impression, either way I enjoyed my food. I will go back to dine in when things settle down because the place looks really nice. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient.

Lots of fun, very clean, great staff and service! Overall a good time, great location too (at least for me only two miles away!) That end of WP very much needed an Ale House! That corner there I suppose is still developing and saw signs of a mini plaza getting put in so the crowd will keep coming. Lots of parking a bit of twists and turns to get in and out though. Clean facilities. There apparently is no pool table but I wasn't looking out for one.

I visited Ale House for a third time last night, against my choice, for a company department dinner. I called ahead to arrange a table, because my last two experiences getting a table with only 2 people was a nightmare. I did not want to go through that again with 8 people for a business dinner. I was told they do not allow call ahead seating, if you want to guarantee a table you need to show up 20 minutes before you want to be seated. In my mind - Strike 1. We arrived shortly after 6 and to our surprise they were not slam packed as they've been the last 2 times we went. We were actually seated within a few minutes of arriving. Our waitress was Lauren, and boy what a trip this girl was. She was very... bubbly, energetic and eager to help. We ordered some pitchers of beer and they were delivered in a timely manner. We ordered our food and patiently waited while we conversed. It seemed like it took a really long time for the food to come out. Mostly everyone at our table ordered seafood. When the food finally came everyone enjoyed it. I had the 35 fried shrimp with house-made potato chips and coleslaw. It was pretty good, not greasy and very filling. I could only eat half. The potato chips were a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting much but they were the best part of the meal, not greasy, fresh, well seasoned. One of my co-workers got the Fresh Fish Salmon sandwich which she liked. She only wanted the salmon filet, but to order the same thing as a filet instead of on a bun was $4 more. Another co-worker had their steamed oysters. He was unimpressed. He said they were shucked incorrectly and the shells were chipped off all over into the oysters. He had to be careful not to eat pieces of shell. The dozen was very small as well, but then again they do sell it as an appetizer and not an entree. My co-workers ordered some shots - which I did not partake in. All in all this experience gave me hope that they are slowly getting their act together and may become an enjoyable restaurant once they get over their new restaurant kinks.

Went there friday in the evening to have a few drinks with my husband and also to have dinner. We ordered blue margaritas because they were on happy hour. Worst margarita I have ever tried, it didn't tasted like it had any alcohol in it, it tasted like if it had water. But on the other hand, the food we ordered was surprisingly good. I ordered the linguini grilled chicken pasta and it was delicious and the portion was enormous. My husband ordered a steak with fries and it was gigantic and very good too. We received a good service from our server.

The food is great like all the other ale houses around....what sets this ale house apart is the ambience---it's impeccable! I love the fire pits outside, but hopefully they managed to invest in some that can regulate the propane because we thought the flame was going burn us. As for food, I had the Blackened Chicken Quesadillas---and now I have a new favorite meal!!! I always get the shrimp but this has definitely hit the top of my likes at the ale house!

Came here for lunch with some co-workers. This was my first time at this location. Unfortunately getting in and out of the parking lot is kind of a pain. It's not very clear what the best way to enter the parking lot is, and this place is right on the chaotic intersection of 17-92 and Lee Rd. If you're heading down 17-92 towards Lee Rd you have to pass Lee Rd and make a U-turn. There's a lot of construction going on right next door, so hopefully when that's done it will make getting in and out easier. The restaurant itself is pretty nice...fairly big, and nice and clean. It was raining when got there, so we ate inside, but I would like to come back and sit on the patio. There were a couple fire pits out there, which is fun. For food I went with the special: blackened salmon Caesar salad. It was pretty tasty and only $5.99, so you can't beat that. It was the perfect amount for me, but I wasn't starving...the portion may be a little too small for someone who is extra hungry. Everyone else at my table seemed to enjoy their food as well, and we had no complaints with service. I would definitely come back.

The food is decent & prices are ok. Happy hour drinks are lacking in variety but what they do offer is at a good price. There are week day food specials but no daily happy hour menu items which is somewhat disappointing. Captain jack's buried treasure desert is amazing, make sure to sign up for birthday deals because that's what you'll get here!

Took three friends for lunch. Arrived later in the afternoon to an almost empty parking lot. There was no greeter, and one waitress who saw us walk in was sitting at a booth talking with her girlfriends. Finally after about a minute she walked over and with four of us standing there asked us "how many?" Went down hill from there. Our server was a bit on the scruffy side, and it took forever to get our meals, which weren't bad actually, but with any place it's not so much the food but the service or lack thereof. You would think in an area where restaurants are popping up all over the place, customer service and attentiveness would be a priority.

The Ale House was my usual Saturday haunt for College football. With about 25 tvs to catch any number of games on, the restaurant would be divided in factions of the faithful. There was the Gator section, the Noles sections, the Bama section, the Penn State section and my lone self in the Fighting Irish section. Of how the "Bless your Heart" would fly my way. The Ale House is always clean and particularly the bathrooms. Thank you. The Millers clearly take great pride in this. Service was always above average. These college kids bust their butts at this place. Any problems were always immediately rectified. The menu is pretty much universal. Salads, sandwiches, appetizers, entrees and desserts. However, the OAH always takes everything a step further in terms of quality and portion size. Even if you ordered a salad, you should leave satiated. I want to thank them for NOT having pizza. Too many pub and grub places go wrong here but not the OAH. The go with what works best. For starters we usually ordered the smoked fish dip or the buffalo shrimp. If you order the chicken nachos, be prepared to share them with about 6-8 other people. Probably the best tasting and largest nachos you will see for around $11.00. If salads are your thing, I highly recommend the Key Lime Salad with blackened chicken or the Caesar Salad with blackened chicken both for around $9.00. They are huge and can easily be split. For entrees, I can't say enough about the steak fajitas. Quality beef cooked just the way you like it. Also can easily be split. You can get fresh, quality seafood at dozens of places in Orlando, the OAH serves up a great grilled or blackened Mahi Mahi entree but take it a step further and get the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. It is also offered as a sandwich if you prefer a roll to tortillas. I like the clam bake as well for under $20. Nice variety of crab, lobster, clams, mussels and shrimp. Like I said, the menu offers just about everything. Burgers are incredibly popular and weigh in at 1/2 pound. Keep it simple, and try the bacon cheeseburger. Also, the Mac & Cheese has become a crowd favorite of late. Other pasta dishes that are worthy of a try are the Cajun Linguine with blackened chicken or the shrimp scampi. Ribs are decent and a steal for a 1/2 rack complete meal at $9.00 while the full rack is only $17.00. The ossobuco is noteworthy and taste like home made. I have never had enough room for desserts here but the Fudge Brownie Sundaes appear to be quite popular. The OAH also has a menu for people with food sensitivities and dietary restrictions. The bar is constantly running a drink special on beer, wine and mixers. I miss the daily $1.00 beer but pitchers of domestics start at $7.00 which isn't bad at all and buckets start at $9.00 if you need to suckle from a bottle. The OAH has about 25 draft selections of standards and regional micro brews, 25 bottled selections and doubles of Jameson for ONLY $8.00. Most places charge $6.00 for a single of the James. It's a great place to meet after work, go on a date, hand with the family or fly it solo. The OAH packs them in on a regular basis and more so on game nights/days. Bring the kids because they won't disturb neighboring tables. My most memorable OAH moment was when the place went dead silent, with the entire restaurant watching on 35 tv's when then President Clinton said, "I did not have sex with that woman." The place just broke into huge amounts of laughter.

Great place to watch football, but the food is really iffy. Ordered a cheeseburger medium, they served it to me very rare / oozing blood. Sent it back and they brought me the same cooked burger ON THE SAME BLOOD SOAKED BUN with the original fries NOW STONE COLD. Manager came by & they made it right, but I would advise sticking with beer and appetizers.

For a new restaurant I expected my visit to be different, ordered a pitcher of sangria & my friends drink had shards of glass in it, I get it accidents happen but a manager should have approached the situation just incase something serious could have happened! We kindly got up & notified the bartender because our server was too occupied doing sidework... Needless to say the second sangria was fantastic! We received our meals along with our checks right away.. I guess she thought we wanted to leave right away without getting any dessert or another beverage.. Oh well I guess she had other plans... When we were ready to pay we had to wait an additional 10 mins. When she finally decided to come back she noticed we were all waiting to leave & she said sorry I was in the back doing side work... After relocating we came to the inside bar, & Sue was such a pleasant lady :)

This is the newest Miller's Ale house in the area!!!! Fabulous food and service. I try something new every time I go and always satisfied. Great selection, large portions, and reasonably priced.

Came here one night to watch a fight, we sat at the bar in the patio room. I ordered a steak medium rare...(which is how I always get my steak)...the waitress brings me a medium well steak with a thin line of red, I told her I wanted medium rare and she said "that is medium rare"....so I had to explain to her what medium rare is. She took the steak back and brought me a medium steak. I shook my head laughing, they then moved our waitress somewhere or she was clocked out, I'm not sure but we never saw her come back. I didn't even eat the steak because it was terrible, the drinks came out slow even when we're sitting AT THE BAR. I'd say if you're looking for a place to watch sports and get slow drinks and not eat..this place is the spot.

Went here for dinner 3 nights in a row because the daily specials are awesome ( lobster, prime rib etc..). The food was good ( and plentiful )and the service was good. The negative thing is that on 2 of the nights there was no hostess at the door. I had to get a waiter to get the hostess. On the 3rd night there were 2 hostesses at the door who kept looking at paperwork and didn't acknowledge my presence even though they looked at me twice. I had to ask them if they were going to seat me. Obviously I'd rather have great food and a bad hostess than the other way around. I will return when I come back to town.

I've gone to this place twice in the past month but always as a group choice, it's not a place I would pick on my own. Yes, it has a general people pleasing atmosphere and the food is generic "American" but that's all they have going for them. The food is less than mediocre. Both times I purchased the zinger Dilla. It's a simple dish that most wing joints have. I give it the benefit of the doubt last time, but it tasted really chemically. Not like a cleaner, but it reminded me of how a chem lab would smell. It comes with rice and beans which are obviously from a can. Tonight was the last time I'll ever get roped into coming here. For great wings look up Friendly Confines and go there instead. It's not far and the wings are superb.

Great service at the bar! Had a couple of pints of Rogue's Dead Guy Ale, a cup of French Onion Soup, and the Cajun Chicken Pasta. The soup was good, and the main was a nicely-spiced chicken breast over linguini. Nice on-the-road meal. This was my second trip to this location, and I'll be back.

I've eaten here twice since they opened up. The first time was the day before they opened. My boyfriend and I wandered in thinking the place was officially open, but it turned out they were having a trial run for their servers. Even though we didn't have a reservation, the manager let us in and allowed us to eat for free! All we had to do was buy a couple drinks at the bar. I thought it was very nice of her to allow us to come in anyway and make it work. Because of that, I was willing to come back again (and, you know, pay for my lunch). Both times, I had the chicken philly sandwich. It was very good, but sort of salty on both occasions. I liked the fried mozzarella we had the first time. It was obviously fresh and not at all like the usual previously frozen appetizers I'd experienced at other places. Definitely worth it! The only thing I'll complain about is service. On my second visit, I was basically ignored as soon as my food was brought to the table. I really had to track the server down to get him to bring me the check. He paid a lot of attention to the table next to me (probably because there was more than one customer), but not much to me at all. In the future, I am hoping I'll experience better service.

Good food. Good service. Good time. Love this location better than all the other locations. The staff is very friendly and willing to fix any problem that may occur. I have a great time there and the atmosphere is fun!

The spot to be to watch the big game, choose from a great selection of craft beers and chill out with fellow Orlandans (Orlandbros?).

Why would you make someone feel invisible when they come in to have a drink? Saturday night is clearly not the time to come to this particular location. Since I love to watch Alabama Football at the company's location down south I thought I would stop in here and enjoy the usually fun atmosphere. Within 10 minutes 5 waiters and waitresses tried not to be helpful (except one who directed us to the restroom in a very friendly manner: thank you!) and just shrug their shoulders. Come on: just wanted a couple of beers at the bar and not eat dinner. That's the reason why I only give 2 stars. Will try again later. There were plenty of empty chairs yet half empty drinks must have given the impression that the owners of such glasses will eventually return.

On Friday evening I sat down at the inside bar with a couple of co-workers to order a couple of beers and dinner. We waited fifteen minutes and nobody approached us. Both girls walked by us a few times and never said anything. We waved to them and they seemed to ignore us. We are nice people, dressed business casual and eager to spend our hard earned money. They couldn't have missed us. There were only about six or seven people at the bar. We finally got up and went to the outside bar where service was much better. The girls were very prompt and courteous. I can never understand why people work in the service business with bad attitudes. At least try to be nice to people! I will still tip you as long as you aren't mean! I hate giving the business a bad review for a couple of bad apples but clearly this is a pervasive problem and management needs to take charge.

I'll start by saying this is my second draft for this review. A voice of reason Came over me Our food was what you would expect from a sports bar. Our waitress was lovely. The patio seemed over crowded and understaffed. Two managers on and one was helping. suggest additional customer service training would be helpful for this winter park ale house to better its standing in the community. It has the potential to be amazing! Requests comments or dissatisfaction from patrons are not a direct attack on ones person. it is mealy a way of communicating wants and needs to be met & should be met with kind resolution. Full on sports seasons are beginning again and your location will be only getting traffic. Please seize the opportunity to care for your patrons as they all have many choices of where to spend their time and money. I would love to see a positive change and will be back in the hopes it will happen.

Anyone who knows me knows I love the Ale House. Like, a lot. I WOULD marry it if I could. It would be the best husband, always ready with a strong drink and foods made with any number of combinations of french fries and cheese, extra large booths for what would inevitably be my ever-expanding ass... But, I digress. I came here today to talk about the Winter Park Ale House in particular. Which, I am not *quite* a fan of yet. Why? Funny you should ask. It's because my bartender wasn't awesome. First, she didn't seem to understand English very well. I know I talk fast, but I'm pretty sure she was born in the US, so she should still have been able to piece it together without so many blank stares and, "What?" My hope is that she was either partially deaf or just new or maybe she had been dropped on her head as a child and was remarkably independent despite her disabilities - in which case she should be celebrated rather than being shamed for never asking me if I wanted another drink, despite my glass being empty and her passing said empty glass several times. Aside from her, the Mountain Melt got to me a little cold and if that was hot sauce, then either their hot sauce was weak or I have built an amazing tolerance to it. So, for this visit, things were acceptable, but I hope that future visits will improve my opinion and rekindle my undying devotion.

I have been here two times. It is a very LOUD restaurant but then again it is a sports bar with a zillion televisions and I am getting older. I have had their Jambalaya which was awesome out of this world. Very spicy and the right portion. The next time I had a burger which was juicy and very tasty. I found it to be a bit more expensive than I expected and the service was just ok. On both occasions I had to ask for a refill on my soft drink. The noise level is the reason why I have not returned.

Pros: They actually have Hockey on without having to ask for it (Only reason for the 2nd star) Cons: Poor customer service Under cooked food Over cooked food Clientele My wife, sister and I went here for dinner last night and it was less than favorable. We ordered the loaded fries, the fries were overcook and a little hard. My sister ordered chili and the beef in the chili was medium rare.... there should be no pink/red colored meat in chili when it is ready to be served. My wife ordered a zinger salad and the celery in the salad was slimy. My sister called the waitress over to tell her about the under cooked meat in the chili. The waitress said "Oh ok, what else would you like?", my sister ordered the zinger salad instead and the waitress left. An apology was not given until the zinger salad was brought to the table and even then it was "Here you go, sorry about that" (Real heart felt). When we received the check, the chili was still on there, we had to ask to get it removed... Don't waste your time on this place, go to the one on University blvd. At least the college kids that go there are more respectful and classy than the middle aged Winter Park lushes stumbling out of the doors.

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants; however, Ale House is one of the few exceptions. This location is almost always a pain to get in and out off and full with UCF & Full Sails students. The restaurant is always nice and clean. Decently priced. I almost always get the osso bucu as it is their best dish, in my opinion.

It's not bad. I've been to this new Ale House twice - once for a UFC fight viewing with a few friends, and again for a going-away party with a large group. The staff were able to manage our bills well despite the number of people on both occasions. The dishes were exactly what I expected, no more, no less, and definitely filling. Note: the nachos are gigantic. The beer list features a lot of lower-to-mid-tier types such as Amstel and Magic Hat, and also had a surprise Angry Orchard Cider and a Gluten Free beer on the list, nice work there. They also have a variety of wines. When I was here Friday of last week, they had dollar margaritas for happy hour, pretty good deal there. Watching the fights on the multiple TV screens in the outdoor section proved to be fun and I did enjoy myself. As long as you have a table when it gets crowded there shouldn't be much of a jostling/noise problem at all. Smoking is allowed outside, but I didn't experience any smoky atmosphere or ashes or smoke blown in my face, so it's comfortable there for smokers and non-smokers. Compared to the other Ale Houses I've been to in town, this is probably the best. Giving 4 stars based on what I expected vs what I received. Well done, Ale House with a weird name (what the heck is a Ravaudage, anyway?).

Came for lunch on a Friday, was told there would be a 25 minute wait but after 10 minutes there were at least 6 empty, cleaned tables. And yet no one was being seated. When we asked why we couldn't be seated we were told by the hostess that "the kitchen is holding us up." Wait, what? The kitchen isn't letting you sit us down and get us a drink? Then they told us they were going to seat is in the smoking section. WHAT?! There are no smoking sections allowed in Florida restaurants. Ultimately they seated us in the same empty booth that we had stood next to for 20 minutes. Ugh. Our waitress, Jessica, was sweet and apologetic. By the time we ordered the restaurant was only half full and yet the food took forever to come out. I saw about seven servers just standing at the pass waiting for food to come out. The kitchen definitely needs to get it together. When the food finally arrived it was hot and adequate, if unremarkable. All in all, I won't be back here. The food isn't special enough to warrant the hassle. There are way too many other far superior restaurants nearby to bother with this nonsense ever again.

Went for lunch on a Saturday and had lots of options for seating and Tv views. The high top tables seem to have the best views! Got the calamari appetizer, the sauce was sooooo good we got extra to pour all over! And I enjoyed the shredded cheese on top, never had that on my calamari before! I got the grilled chicken breast sandwich with a side of medium hot sauce and it was good! Not dry at all and I liked that the fries came seasoned! We were watching a soccer game and the waitress didn't seem to mind we were taking our time. The portions are a really good size; I couldn't finish my sandwich but then again I don't usually get an appetizer with lunch.

We started strong but ended very weak. Dinner for four at 7 PM on a Friday night. We were seated fairly quickly and our appetizers arrived within 15 minutes. The chicken wings were hot and quite tasty. The accompaniments were sparse, including about four celery sticks for 20 wings and two tiny cups of blue cheese and ranch dressing. Before I comment on the service, I do want to point out that the food runners were quite good. Nearly everything that came out was the result of their efforts. Our server was very friendly and I think genuinely wanted to do a good job. He just failed in nearly every respect to do so. Virtually no pre-bussing. Came by every 20 minutes or so but never offered to bring us any refills on drinks. We had to ask each time. After nearly an hour, I innocently inquired about the status of our meals and got a polite but genuine "I forgot to put them in." I was surprised but not really upset because he was so nice and we were having a good time otherwise. I figured he would get us our meals quickly and all would be well. Wrong. Another 45 minutes went by before the food runners arrived with our meals. None of them were prepared correctly. Some examples: my salmon was overcooked; I ordered new potatoes, which is the way the menu describes the meal, but my meal arrived with a baked potato; and my grandmother's meal arrived with blackened shrimp and blackened chicken despite our specific instructions (twice) that they not be blackened. Only at the very end, over two hours after we had arrived, did the server ask us how everything was. We were as polite as we could be, but we did tell him honestly that the food was not cooked properly and that the service was much slower than we expected. He apologized with the explanation that he was "slammed." To his credit, he tracked down a manager (another 20 minutes) and got my salmon comped. To my great disappointment, however, we never once saw a manager at any time during our time at the table. No check in, no apology, nothing. We saw a manager at the host stand as we were walking out and he greeted us with "have a good night," but never asked how our experience was. At that point I was not in the mood to volunteer how we really felt. Will not be returning anytime soon, if ever.

If I could give this place zero stars i would. The first time I went here was on my birthday, with a service for ten people. That service seemed to go smoother. Seven of us sat outside, with a few specific orders. There was an issue with every aspect of the meal. Ice tea had blue cheese that settled to the bottom of the glass and wasn't noticed until it was halfway consumed. Zingers were brought instead of a zinger melt and covered with sour cream though it was asked to bring on the side; when asked to bring another plate the runner said, "if you want another plate it will take 12 more minutes," instead of, "Sorry let me fix this for you." Orders were consistently incorrect. Wings did not come with sauces ordered, snow crabs tasted as if they'd been frozen for months, full rib rack was dry. My aunt never received her dinner, and when every person was finished eating they brought the dinner out and it was completely wrong. She asked for fish tacos; with no cheese, no rice, side of black beans and chopped onions and guacamole. She had black beans and sliced onions as if for a sandwich for the duration until staff was spoken to. Staff seemed incredibly ill-trained to handle customer service issues, the floor manager told me that someone must have dropped blue cheese in my aunt's ice tea. The waitress did not communicate or fix issues-she just apologized and accepted fault. Waitresses may be at the mercy of the grill line, but there is a certain way you should treat upset customers. We will never patron this place again.

This place is great! We came in last night and were told it was going to be about a thirty minute wait. One of the hostesses put our name down on an iPad and let us know that they were going to text us once the table was ready. Way cooler than using stupid pagers! Once we got the text message, about 25 minutes later, another hostess with a separate iPad told yet another hostess which table to take us to. It was all very neat and organized. We got sat at a booth and the server came up to our table almost immediately. The food took a little while to come out, but it's understandable since the restaurant was so busy and they were on a wait. When it came out, it was hot and everything was perfect. Our server did an awesome job, so we left her a large tip. We walked out extremely happy with the whole experience. We told the girl at the door that we would definitely be back another time. I really recommend this location!
